Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out how the Prova Labs service at provalabs.app may and may not be used. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the service — to every upload, every generated preview and every report. If you do not accept these rules, do not use the service.

Purpose and scope

Prova Labs is a personal colour and style consulting service: a one-off colour analysis and a style issue that renews every month. You upload your own photo for the analysis and may add images of pieces you own to your issue. This policy exists to keep that use safe, lawful and respectful of the people who appear in the images.

This policy applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where this policy is stricter than the Terms, this policy governs.

Only your own photo

You may upload a photo only if it is a photo of you, or a photo of another adult who has given you explicit, informed consent to upload it and have it processed by the service.

It is your responsibility to obtain that consent before you upload, and to be able to demonstrate it if we ask. Consent given for another purpose is not enough. If a person withdraws their consent, you must stop uploading their images.

Uploading a photo of someone who has not agreed to it — a stranger, a public figure, a colleague, a former partner or anyone else — breaches this policy, regardless of where you obtained the image.

Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited. This list is not exhaustive; conduct of a comparable nature is prohibited too.

— Generating, requesting or previewing NSFW, explicit, sexually suggestive or pornographic content of any kind.

— Uploading a photo of any person without their explicit consent.

— Uploading images of minors. The service is for adults only, and no image of a person under 18 may be uploaded, in any context.

— Using the service to harass, defame, threaten, impersonate or otherwise manipulate the identity of any person.

— Any unlawful, infringing, hateful, discriminatory, deceptive or otherwise harmful use, including creating content intended to mislead others about who a person is or what they have done.

— Attempting to circumvent the safeguards, filters or usage limits of the service, or using automated means to do any of the above.

Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may remove content, refuse a request, suspend an account or terminate it permanently — without prior notice and at our discretion.

Serious breaches, in particular anything involving images of minors or non-consensual sexual content, will result in immediate termination and may be reported to the competent authorities.

Termination for a breach of this policy does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription period or one-time purchase already paid for. Our Refund Policy continues to apply in all other cases.

Reporting a violation

If you believe an image of you has been uploaded without your consent, or that the service has been used in breach of this policy, contact us and we will investigate. Please include enough detail for us to identify what happened.

As explained in our Privacy Policy, we keep no copy of uploaded photos once they have been processed, so please report a concern as soon as you become aware of it.
